Women of Spirit
The Tucson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is launching its first Women of Spirit Awards to honor Southern Arizona women for their contributions to the spiritual growth and development of their places of worship and their communities.
These women will be honored at a luncheon on Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, 3800 W. Starr Pass Blvd.
We hope you will support this inaugural event by purchasing a luncheon table so you may join us in celebrating those chosen by the Selection Committee to receive Women of Spirit awards. Tickets are $60 per person or $600 per table of 10.
An advertising form for the souvenir program and a table guest form are available for download. Ads may be e-mailed to deltasinthedesert@gmail.com or mailed to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tucson Alumnae Chapter, P.O. Box 13732, Tucson, AZ 85732-3732. Ads are due by Monday, March 1, 2010.
Proceeds from the event will fund programs, scholarships, and community collaborations sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tucson Alumnae Chapter.
